Union Pacific No. 844 departed Bald Knob Arkansas today, what an amazing piece of machinery! Just as th' 844 was leaving, I drove to th' Bald Knob Airport where my buddy Joe Sims was standing by with th' Citabria. We gave chase and flew over 20 miles at about 120mph to catch up! Th' air was a lil' bumpy and hazy, but we got a few good shots.
Thanks for watchin'
Have a goodun'

  • GOOD VIDEO! is that an ARKANSAS accent you have ?

  • @HITHEREFOLKS Thanks, Well you're half right. Half Arkansas, half Louisiana! lol

  • Very cool shots! I wonder what's up with the modern engine snuck in behind it though.

  • @Shadoglare I was wondering th' same thing. Talked to a U.P. Steam Team guy and he said its purpose was to supply electrical power to th' passenger cars and to provide proper dynamic braking.

  • awsome vid keep it up

  • @ridgerunner112 Thanks!
