@chri55tian1 particals dont vaporize just melt once they are melted they can vaporize because the electron is on the outside not the inside like a partical particals are solid and molecules are fluid. when particals heat up and become a liquid like metal the electron sucks everything of the partical to the inside and create a dormant electron that houses the partical on the inside and its the opposite for molecules

@chri55tian1 no because when he said "close to the sun" he still means hundreds of thousands of miles from the suface so far away that the ice holding the rock together doesnt melt and it is only round the sun for a short period of time then hurtles back out into space where it can regrow in size from collecting space dust particles and may hit into another asteroid increasing its size
