  • Great instructional. Thanks for posting it. Is your user name dragondix, because your willie can breath fire?

  • @philbio66 well there was this one time after a one night stand...

  • nice player!!!!!, vibe, can you reocomend any books to learn jazz harmony?

  • @closetome The Mark Levine book(s) 'The Jazz Theory book' is one of the best books for learning about harmony but there are many others. For a different perspective try Wayne Krantz's 'Improvisers OS'. Ted Greene's chord books are great for guitar, with Classical and Jazz approaches in easy to understand applications etc - got ot his website, great insights on there and free pdfs of some of his thoughts on voicings. Good luck!

  • when doing the chordal melody, what are the chords you use

  • @jackapoo1715 at what points specifically?

  • could you please refrain from placing such awesome rucksacks in the background of your videos. very distracting.

  • Auto replay is on, repeating the first 25 seconds over and over. I love the sound. There's a crazy chromatic sounding riff around 0:10 - 0:13 that I really like too. Such good harmonies.

  • Whole video is great but gets golden around 4:00 wiith the ii v i subs.

  • I literally said "Wow." This is one of my favorites. I love Coltrane, the steps, and your playing. Great!

  • This is awesome, but I must have notes on the chords you're playing - trying to figure out the voicings by eyes and ears take ages. I rather use that time to practice improvising over it. Thanks

  • @dragondix

    Uh, huh.

  • @dragondix maybe throw in there mick goodrick's "the advancing guitarist" thats a great book as well.

  • Like Bossa Nova

    Very good, man
