Mohamed Ali Farag was born in Cairo, Egypt on the 24th Feb 1978. He is the student of Ahmad Mustafa (who was a student of Syaikh Mustafa Ismail).
Mohamed Ali Farag is the Quran Reciter of Amr ibn Al-'As mosque. It is one of the biggest mosque in Egypt and Africa. He is also the reader in Egyptian TV and radio. He got 1st place (Champion) in musabaqah in Egypt for the year 2005. He has records in satellite channels and international radio records. The Egyptian Government has sent him to recite before audiences around the world which includes Saudi Arabia, Canada, UK, Germany, South Africa, Malaysia, Maldives, Dubai and Singapore where he's the guest at the famous Ba'alwie mosque for the holy month of Ramadhan in 2007 & 2008.
