Bullshit. Bouzuki may be greek, but the Saz is as Kurdish as the melodies played on it. For the Kurdidish relgion, Yezidism, it is just in many purpouses and is almost seen as holy. The Kurdish Alevites of Turkey continued this tradition when they converted from Yezidism to Shiaislam. The name "Saz" itself is Kurdish and means "put together" (when you tie the strings).
