I think the movie summed it up best when he said "It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be dark and it's going to last you for the rest of your life." The problem with the premise of changing you life is that you end up in another rut and if you change that rut, you end up in another. In the movie Phil got the girl because he had an eternity to perfect himself for the high standards of one woman. I guess men should all expect women to be just as creative as Martha Stewart.

@airwebone Very simple idea but makes a profound change in the life. You can have a positive attitude but if you make poor choices then it will reflect in your life too.One can have a positive attitude about going to the bar and having a drink with your friends but it is a poor choice. Drinking clouds your judgement and it will bound to effect in your daily life. What we become and who we are because of the kind of choices we make in our lives.

bought the book and read it in a few days... I gave the book to a friend after highly recommending the book... I must say the environmentalist ending took a little away from the book for me

What's not to love about this... Learn how change your life from watching a movie that you would probably love watching anyway.

I think that we all felt like Phil Connors at one point in our lives. As a corporate consultant, I know how hard it is to get people and companies to break free from the patterns that prevent them from being successful. I think that your book and the movie would be a great training tool because it shows how to use a fun comedy to encourage personal and organizational change. This is a very creative idea you've developed, Paul!
