Variacion del Tumbao Moderno o "La Marcha" con el Maestro de Timbas David Ortiz "La Mole".

The modern Tumbao is one of, if not the most common conga rhythms played for all types of music in 4/4. There are many variations of the basic tumbao, including playing the tumba on the 3-side of the clave.
Pay close attention to hand position on the drum.

This basic tumbao pattern is played on every 8th-beat in the measure in the following sequence: notice the slap being placed on the & of 1 on the second bar or 3 side of the clave..
