Orihime Inoue ★Shooting Star★

An early valentines day present for Orihime. xD I hope she appreciates it. v_V

The first time i heard this song i went weak at the knees. I still get butterflies every time i listen to it. You know how some songs just really do something to you? If i could put what romance means to me in musical form, it would be this. Its not epic but its performed with so much passion I couldn't help but use it for this video. I wanted to save it for something with a really nice romantic touch but not in an 'OMG ICHIHIME GRIMMYHIME ULQUIHIME ISHIHIME YAMAMHIME UNIVERSAHIME' way.

The story i went with is kinda complex so i'm not sure if everyone will pick up on my crazy way of thinking but it shifts points of view between characters. It focuses on Orihime's crush on Ichigo growing in to this rather intense love as it slowly boiled away inside her over the months. Yamamoto branding her a traitor and Ichigo turning his back on Soul society, choosing to rescue his friend rather than lend his aid to his allies, choosing /her/ over them. I also delved slightly in to Ulquiorra's curiosity over her as a human. I dont think Aizen lets him out to play much and i do believe he finds her most fascinating. I doubt there are many people that could get away with slapping the fourth espada and i really dont know who was more shocked by it, Hime or Ulquirra. And then theres a bit of Grimmy thrown in due to his little act of kindness (Even though he was just dying for a scrap with Ichi and she was his tool to get it. xD Shes like the only person i've ever seen him took at without scowling.)

Orihime's character really isn't full of anything but love for her friends and a strong respect for any form of life she encounters, no matter how malicious it may be. She really shows us her maturity and determination when she turns the other cheek to Lolly instead of crumbling in to a whimpering ball and begging for her life. And then to bring the enemy /back to life/ just after they've used her to paint the walls a new shade of red is nothing short of admirable for such a young girl. She may have god defying powers but its not like she knows how to use them properly. No one has ever taught her properly *looks at Hachigen expectantly* and no matter how hard she tries she just can't quite understand them yet. To use them offensively all she'd do is take lives and shes just too good a person to do that. It has nothing to do with cowardice or fear. Shes put herself in the line of fire to save a life, just like a lot of the other characters.

Hate is a pretty strong word, especially for a fictional character. Don't like? I can understand why people might not like Orihime, i've never seen a problem with that. we're all different, but the hatred always seems to be linked to Rukia? Despite the powerful friendship between the two, so many fans have developed this seething mass of child like jealously and spite towards Orihime/Kubo for her role in the story. God someone shoot her, she's fallen in love and has big breasts. *rolls eyes*
This video is not for you people. Its for the people that love and appreciate a realistic character that Kubo has poured emotion in to like water to a glass. You can rate me down but that won't make her go away. :)

Shounen anime isn't about emotion but knowing when to use it and who to use it on makes the difference between a shounen anime and a /good/ shounen anime.

FlyingAce1717, may I point out that if it weren't for Orihime, practically everyone whould be dead, Chad would be dead, Ichigo would be dead, Rukia would be dead etc etc.

She's no different than Sakura (from Naruto) in that respect, so seriously just leave her alone, go rant to somebody else.
