10 minutes of Thomas the Tank Engine goodness between St. Thomas and Port Stanley, Ontario. This is a volunteer train ride at the end of the event, that went all the way from St. Thomas to Port Stanley and back.

  • The horn on Thomas really fails. What is that a kids toy whistle? XD

  • I dunno, but it doesn't need to be a horn by Transport Canada standards, because when a train is moving backwards, the engine doesn't have to honk the horn at a crossing if someone is on the tail end, which there is (in Thomas).

  • I figured it didn't need a real horn traveling backwards, I'm not sure if that engine has power or if it's just a nicely done up car, you'd probably know the answer to that one.

I'd still like to hear a nice air horn though. :D

  • It's just a frame with a smoke machine and a whistle. But apparently there is a real steam engine somewhere in the States that is painted like Thomas the Tank Engine.

  • Winnie has a really great horn, I would love to come to the PSTR some time and go for a cabride in that engine.

  • They use this engine in the evening during their Murder Mystery trains. They also use it for other special trains like the Hobo Lunch and Line Tour. So come at a time that they're doing it, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

  • @chrisvazquez7 I've been on the U.S. one in Baltimore

  • @chrisvazquez7 Yes there is, its a 0-6-0 Porter tank engine very nicley done, although innacurate it looks great as a Britain"ized" american steam locomotive, many of the ones in england are beautifully done and although this "locomotive" isnt an engine at all, it is the most acurate.

  • Awesome video!

  • Great video Chris. I am sorry my PSTR Video has been taking for ever.
