People were replying with negative remarks per Emina Cunmulaj so I wanted to explain myself in her defense. Sure Culture is very important. I follow my culture. @AzeminaH these comments are more about emina than islam.....because at the end of the day you can be muslim and albanian...its important to know history though, meaning our national/ethnic hero, skenderbeg, fought islam on behalf of the western civilization, which is who we were, and who we ought to be, as a people.

What intrigued me was this discussion bellow. The vast majority of Albanians are Muslims who descended from Turkmenian people. They came to the Balkans with the Turks and there mixed with Vlachs. By their backward customs, Albanians are different from the surrounding culturally and historically more developed nations
