Random Acts of Kindness - Part 1

Last week bmibaby surprised a deserving dad mid-flight in honour of Father's day!

We invited the public to nominate their favourite fathers to receive a very exciting prize. Nominations were made via our Facebook page and Twitter feed to find the most deserving father travelling with bmibaby that week to bestow a random act of kindness upon.

Brian Hubbert was the lucky father picked at random by the bmibaby team. Brian was nominated by his wife Suzanne who described him as a 'fantastic' dad to his two children and a 'wonderful' grandfather.

On Friday Brian boarded his flight from East Midlands Airport unaware of the surprise that the bmibaby team had in store for him. Brian was travelling with bmibaby to Newquay to visit family, when his name was announced over the P.A. system and he was asked to come forward to receive a very special gift.

In front of the audience of cheering customers, a surprised Brian was awarded with a voucher for unlimited bmibaby flights to Newquay throughout 2011.

Suzanne said of her deserving husband: 'Brian deserves this prize, he is always available for his children, his grandchildren and myself, making him an all round good egg!'
