and the guitar solo on "Donegal" was feeling like tin whistle. I was moved !

When CM left the band in 1974, PB replaced him for a while, but not long enough to record with 'em. More's the pity.

See if you can find the CD "The Missing Liberty Tapes". Excellent live recording of Paul Brady & Andy Irvine from about 35 years ago.

Paul is a great musician, "Pontaircain" is one of his finest. He has recorded irt on various albuns either as solo or as part of of a group, Planxty, Irvine. I am not sure if his time in Planxty coincides with Christie Moore, but if it does please advise me, I would love to hear this as a duet with Christie
