@nascar88ford Yea man for sure... the only thing ive ever done to mine is i had to replace the linkage. But that was 80 bucks and i keep it lubed with WD-40 so it doesnt get rusty like befor. But other than that i sure dont have any doughts about chooseing the floor shift 4wd. Definatly FTW!!!!!!!

the electronic stuff is just weird and a pain sometimes, it was winter and was about 20 degrees out with 12 inches on the ground. i was just tryin out his 4wd system to see if i liked the switch better than the manuel shift 4wd and i just dont feel as confident that it will work everytime when i need it. and in the 6 years ive owned my f150 ive never had a problem with the 4wd system and i use it alot for snow and sand and some mud during hunting season.
yea mine shifts easy to... u just pull the shifter back to 4hi just like in your vid then pop it into neutral and slid the shifter over and down to 4 low. just as easy as that. and my grandpa has a 2005 f150 FX4 its a sweet truck its got a 3.73 limited slip rear axle and alot of extras but it has the switch on the dash and from 2hi to 4hi is shifts right in but from 4hi to 4 low it takes a good 10 to 15 seconds for the 4 low light to come on. mine comes on as soon as the shifter is in 4 low

@stevensf1504x41 My stepdad has an 04 FX4 and it takes a few seconds (or longer) to engage 4wd. Floor shift for the win!!!!

@stevensf1504x41 I agree and I love it! Mine shifts really easy. Does the 97-03's shift bascially the same way? My 2000 was a 2WD 5-speed.
