I agree. I'd like to hear more of this genre from her. I love jazz. She could resurrect the jazz era in the Philippines, with her signature vocals. Jazz has broadened in time -Regine can sing some 20's jazz, Swing, Blues, Bebop, Smooth, or Fusion, or she can even create her own subgenre. She sure can sing it all!

The only time I saw/heard an artist scat in the Philippines was when Patti Austin performed at the Greenbelt Jazz Festival sometime around 2005, as my memory struggles to remember. Anywho, it's quite ecstatic and refreshing to listen & watch this awesome performance. I especially liked the part when Regine scats at the end. It was so well improvised and really sounded like a solo instrument from the band...that's amazing talent! It gave me an Ella Fitzgerald vibe. The band is equally awesome.
