Slumdog Millionaire composer A R Rahman Interview - Alchemy Festival, Southbank Centre

An interview with celebrated Indian film composer A R Rahman ahead of the London Philharmonic Orchestra's performance of his work at Southbank Centre's Alchemy Festival. In 2009 A R Rahman received two Academy Awards for Best Song and Best Score for the film Slumdog Millionaire.

Alchemy explores the culture of India, its diaspora and its relationship to the UK today in over 30 events spanning dance, music, literature, debates, fashion and food.

I went to this. As he said, it was an orchestral performance and he did not perform. Although the music was brilliant, I personally was a bit bored and thought it was over-priced.
