where did you get the container?

There are fair dinkum guides available to show you how to make a real working aquaponics system that WILL give you loads of vegies and fish.
JF and affiliates are pushing a very second rate product and asking money for it.

This looks good for people with poor dirt (nutrition) and lots of water or a way to recapture the evaporated water. Tasty. Tasty Food!

Thanks for the invite.
Do you have a more detailed parts list and how to?
I just happen to have one of these containers!
Where are the instructions located?

@Sally0h I'm planning on using an "Earthship" like design. search Mini Earthship. The basic Idea is that you fill used tires with dirt and stack them like bricks. I plan on making The basic shell without all of the system components. Eventually I would like to add on and make it my home, but I think it will be much easier to start with a "greenhouse".
Checkout Earthships 101 for the overall concept.

I would love to try this since I live in the desert and in ground growing is very difficult to do here.

Nice video! A very good intro to aquaponics - a very serious, sustainable system.
Thanks for inviting me. I'm very interested in aquaponics. We live in KY and I'm looking for ways to do this in the winter in a greenhouse!

@Sally0h Thanks for your comment. I know it can be challenging for winter growing (cold, lack of light, etc.) I have designed a little system for indoor growing - extra parts needed were the lights. the lights tend to use quite a bit of power tho so looking for off grid ideas, low power use bulbs (compact flourescents for growing - I am also looking at LED lighting too but seems expensive so far). The manual gives some great ideas. At testing stage right now.
