This game was scary. I mean it was scary. I've never played like this before or since other than SH2. You'd play it and you would jump out of your seat. It was meant to make you afraid. The schoolhouse with teachers dead on the walls and kids crawling around with daggers laughing, the hospital with nurses and those things on their backs and both make you horrified at having to kill them and that makes the game stick in your mind many years later. I will never, ever forget silent hill.

@keysake the dagger was holding the door closed and their was a monter inside and since the chain wasn't linked the monster would've been set free and kill harry. it's a twist on the grab anything u can concept in the game.

a bloodsucker (like the one you have to "feed" with the blood pack), comes out of the fridge and kill you..

@bRandOnwillkilu Isn't it neat how the Playstation only had 2 MB of main RAM for the CPU, and 1 MB of video RAM? That is like some of the very first computers (white ambiguous looking ones)!!
