Part 3: Mike talks about community and living on this planet.
Earthship Biotecture: earthship.com
Innovative & pioneering, his goal-driven biotectural design is changing the world. With a deep grasp on the human aspect in architecture and living styles, architect Michael Reynolds shares his thoughts, and how his now well-known Earthships emerged over the years. He also speaks of our humaness, and the communities he continues to develop in New Mexico. Homes that are totally self-sufficient and take care of their owners, the Earthship design, as you most certainly will see to some degree in this series, embraces the human spirit.

This is part 3 of 4: a re-edit of an hour-long TV production for public access TV. This interview was taped in 2003, and I'm more than pleased to finally present it in it's entirity on the web; Youtube limits length of videos, hence the necessary re-edit; newer photos were added to this re-edit. I trust you'll watch all 4 parts; Michael Reynolds gives us much food for thought, but better than that: food for action!

You will find more information on Earthships at www.earthship.com. Thanks to the office for additional photos.

Music in this series is performed by Puzzle of Light, a group from Dayton Ohio; and Michael & Sandy Bashaw; compositions include Veldt & Village and Crescent Moon, composed by Michael & Sandy Bashaw, and Cehn, an improvisation by Michael and Sandy Bashaw and Bob Thompson.

Thanks to DATV staffers for assistance: Rick Latimer, Gregory Tucker, Dale Grow, and Patrick Hughes.
