  • I'm just discovering this. I'm going to hear it with NY Philharmonic (Peter Serkin, David Zinman) in March. I'm not a great Serkin fan, though I adored his father.

  • First time I've heard this. is this a precurser to the symphony in 3 movements or one of its many spawns.

  • she's a great bartok interpreter as well.

  • Some of her interpretations of 20th century works are at the top of the pile, IMO.

  • Hey boss, this is peculiar, Fricsay conducting Strava... Quite exceptional for my ears, staccato, nervous, and quite brittle, etc.

  • I am discovering the genius that is Monique Haas! Her french music is really elegant although this is very ferocious.

    she was great,particularly her technique was really outstanding!
