An unorthodox view of gender and development in Africa. 'Caravan' is a Belgian NGO with activities in Congo. Here, the director of the organisation articulates the 'message' that her organisation wants to trasmit, on women, Africa, and sustainable development. This event took place in Namur, Salle Cinex, on September 12, 2008 and preceded a performance by famed Guinean singer and kora player N'Faly Kouyaté and his band Dunyakan. English subtitles are provided by myself and have occasional gaps where I couldn't catch her words.
