A deadly virus known as "Algernon" has attacked humanity with vicious meaning. At the forefront of the battle is the mystifying Akamatsu Industries disguised as a heavy machine factory in Tokyo, this undercover organization uses neural enhanced weapons known as NeuroNoids to battle Algernon. Also helping with their secret efforts is the mysterious mutant who is only known as "Betterman".

i wish they still had animes like this on tv but know they have to replace them with all the crappy shows.

i remember watching this on tech tv (now known as g4) but know they get rid of all of the good shows just so they can show freakin cheaters all day!!!!!!!

I saw this anime a long time ago, when I was little.

What I have always wanted to see, but could never find anywhere on the Net, is Lamia and Seeme's fight agaist Kankel (or any battle from this series that involves Kankel); in particular the final battle against Lamia (in his Oltos form) where Kankel is killed (I believe he inhibited his regeneration and then tore him apart, literally; can someone confirm that?). If anyone could help me with finding a clip like the one I'm looking for, I would greatly appreciate it.

It's Sueo Ushiyama, one of Mamoru's friend and classmates. But he looks like older than the GGG Series.
