This might be christina's best live performance till date. She hit all the notes except 2:03 - 2:07. This is the best cover of James Brown's song although I dont think that its a soulful rendition of the song. The only white female singers of this generation who have any soul in them are Norah jones and the late Amy Winehouse. I hope Norah does a tribute to Etta or Amy.I know she wont belt like christina but she has soul that Norah,and Im very curious to know how she would cover Etta and Amy. <3

she's just acting up vocally and being SOULFUL. she's not singing to sound pretty, she's singing a tribute and singing in the style of the legendary performer... I've seen heard her climb scales "elegantly" but that wouldn't have been effective. that 2:02 note everyone is talking about is in whistle register... not really a note just a SOUND, really soulish and gorgeous and out of note range and organic, FUCKING REAL. more people needa get inside their voice and guts and see what comes out.
