Afterthought. I do realize that these are a welcome transition from the conventional that we have developed. And, some of the same 'minds' that create solutions such as these may be some of those that recreate(?) earlier even more traditional ones.

Remarkable and admirable endeavors. I note the mention of a climate battery being made "almost entirely from the dump." Wondering, in general - is there the (inner) acknowledgment being made re:Peak oil/and declining other natural resources as well? I ask with regard to construction materials, electricity use, etc. Even with such notable designs, such endeavors are still so heavily dependent upon these last? And in this, I reflect upon indigenous ways once again...

J.O. dissuaded me from pursuing permaculture certification because he thinks everyone has to PAY to take the both basic and advanced design courses and cannot be certified otherwise. I've read the book(s) and practiced the principles on my own land already - just wanted to take the advanced class for the credential. Permaculture isn't rocket science or brain surgery!

@LIARSandCHEATSinfo Actually, at CRMPI there is a climate battery made almost entirely from the dump! It can be done! Cheaply!

why forced air and not a closed water system for moving heat around?

@PhotoNika The point of the forced air system is that it can draw hot air for the highest point in the greenhouse and move it underground with just a simple fan. a closed water system would be far more consumptive and create to intense of soil temperature changes.
