It is a fantastic film !!! The English title makes it sound like a cheesy romcom, which it is really not. Both leading actors are really good, the music is awesome, and the scenery beautiful. Of course, it is not entirely historically accurate, I dont think any "historical" film can ever be: it adapts the history of Goethe/Werther to the needs of 21st century. But overall, a fantastic film and a must-see, especially if you're an adept of the Romantic era like I am !

@ghettoindie it is at the moment only available in German. apparently, the american subtitled version will be available in April 2012.

I wanted to see this so badly, but it never came to theaters anywhere near me. Any idea when it will be out on DVD?
