I don't know much, but I do know that it is hard. No-one is weak just because they did or saw something that stays with them. There is ALWAYS someone to talk to, no matter how F*cked up it may be.

@doraemon8061 PTSD is no joke! I have it too from several bad experiences and am afraid to sleep or leave my home. Don't slep in the dark and have chimes attached to all doors. In fact I stay up ALL NIGHT till daylinght comes... I just can't sleep. Have to be careful what I watch on here even or it triggers me:(

So what! Everybody suffers from this PTSD crap. It is part of everyday living and some people just can't seem to live without whining everyday of their lives.People who volunteer for the armed service have NO bitch coming what-so-ever. You knew when you joined you could be subjected to wars and battle. You also know that claiming PTSD can get you a free meal ticket for life. It is the easiest alleged syndrome to FAKE! Quit haunting the halls of the VA and get a job like I did after I got back.

@iditarod9 It's unfortunate you feel that way. Denying that PTSD is a problem helps no one. Every branch of the military, as well as the VA, acknowledges it is real and constitutes a major and growing problem for returning troops. While you were able to move on after your service but a certain proportion of veterans cannot.
