On October 21, 2011, the Bahá'í International Community released a report documenting a wide-ranging media campaign being systematically stirred up against Iran's 300,00-member Bahá'í minority. The report documents and analyzes more than 400 press and media items over a 16-month period, that typify an insidious state-sponsored effort to demonize and vilify Baha'is, using false accusations, inflammatory terminology, and repugnant imagery.

  • 9:43 Wow. So apparently Baha'is have glowing red eyes, and hold prayer meetings while dressed up as Rob Zombie? It's literally unbelievable, incredible, that these kinds of assertions could be made by sane individuals. And it's not just a case of simple ignorance, but willful, calculated untruth, and as Ms. Ala'i said, they'll lie right to your face. Such conduct dishonours and blackens the good name of a civilization that was once the envy of the world.
