Clash of the Hedgehogs: Ryan vs Jason

For the past two years, the Sonic fandom has been divided on one very serious issue: the voice acting of Sonic and his friends. Who portrayed Sonic better: his original video game voice actor, Ryan Drummond, or his 4Kids replacement, Jason Griffith?

Now, the two hedgehogs are ready to show the world just what they're made of, and they're not holding back!

I actually think Jason is pretty good, if only he didn't hold out on some of the lines you know? He needs to speed it, but I think I prefer Jason a bit more. I guess because I've been growing up with him.

i think jason voice is better than ryan jason really fits sonic personality rayan has emotion but i think he doesnt fit sonic personality you guys want ryan back because he been sonic voice back then in 3 or 4 games and you dont want him to leave is like miss your old friends from your old school isnt that right guys

I think that Ryan's a little better. About the whole "high voice" thing, Sonic's a three foot tall hedgehog. 0.o

I love how everyone supporting Ryan gets a thumbs-up and everyone supporting Jason gets a thumbs-down. -_-' No bias in THESE comments, huh?

Personally, I think both VA's are fine. Hell, they sound near identical to me. The difference is that Ryan sounds a bit more hyper, and Jason sounds a bit more youthful.

Still, having missed out on most of the 5th- and 6th-gen Sonic titles, I have to go with Jason.
