Joe and the Queers really know how to capture the 60's surf sound. A talented singer and writer Joe never achieved wide commercial success but nonetheless this album still contains some very good material. Had Joe cleaned up his image and presented himself differently perhaps more commercial success would have come but he stil does it his way and plays small venues.
