Beyonce - Ave Maria

I know for a fact that she didn't mean to disrespect anything or anybody. I agree that she was more focused on her admiration of the song (and or) artist of the original song. I personally think that she did a wonderful job at re-making this song.

I don't think that it was beyonce's intention to offend or disrepect the original content or religious connection that "ave maria" may have. She herself is religious as her family built a christian centre. Songs are remade all the time and its usually out of admiration for the artist and the original version. And if it wasn't for Beyonce, I don't think I would have any knowledge of the existence of the orginal.

It's funny how, out of all of the music out there, people are calling this insulting. This version and the original are beautiful, and I would never have listened to the original if I hadn't heard this version. If anything Beyonce is opening up traditional music to the pop world. She's helping to sophisticate pop music and I'm sure she didn't mean to disrespect anyone with this song.

Its actually not...If you ask me i think that she liked the traditional song so she's trying to make other people like this song by making it modern And if you think about it, this will actually make people want to listen to the original more :)

she had no bussiness to go back and redo such a traditional and beautiful song i wouldn't have minded if she made it a completely diffrent song but to take the name and music i think it is simply disrespetful
