the back of the case is rubber like, think of spreading cooking flour over wheel tire rubbers of a car, and thats the feel you get. which is nice and doesn't leave fingerprints.

i hav 1 of these cases and let me tell ya, it ain't all that. brightness is definitely cut in half, so next time people's, dim your ipod to 50% and thats d result u get wit this case.
In daylight, u can't see shit which really sux, and i mean u can't see nottin, maybe a bit of words. At night in complete darkness you may be able to see 60% of total brightness.
Its an elegant piece of design and i like how the screen protector area is part of the case itself but overall, not recommended
