the Beatles sure did know how to make an entrance, as you can see here in this very rare footage of the Beatles landing in a plane only to be greeted with enthusiasm by adoring fans. the first to arrive is Ringo Star! the music selection in "Revolution" followed by "Back in the USSR" taken from the 2006 release "LOVE"

  • That was great! All the fans were chanting "Ringo! Ringo!" Thanks for sharing this video!

  • I believe this was the day Ringo rejoined the Beatles tour in Australia after missing a few performances (subbed by Jimmy Nicol) while he had tonsilitis. That's Brian Epstein just behind him as they head to the car. Brian had flown to Australia with Ringo. So it was just Ringo that this big crowd had come to see. Wow!
