The moving moment during speech.

In the ancient and gorgeous Yale Woolsey Hall, before the start of the premiere performance of "Ask the Sky and the Earth", Yale concert band director Tom Duffy introduced this chorale suit and the sent-down youth movement of China. Subsequently, the touching scene emerged. Renowned baritone and chorus music director Mr. Chai-lun Yueh asked the audience and the singers, "How many people who have participated in this sent-down youth to countryside movement", and countless hands were raised.
40 years later, in a foreign land, these no longer young "sent-down youth" were always hard to forget those years. A lot of people told reporters after the performance, many singers and audiences had tears in their eyes!
Among those hands were raised, some of them are not for their own, they are for their brothers, sisters, friends and family members. 40 years ago, with nearly 20 million of the youth in China were sent down to distant frontiers, Islands, mountain villages, wasteland to spend their precious youth to do labor work, it is impossible to find people irrelevant. The movement changed so many people's lives.
