@TodaysBushcraft Inaccurate as all get out but up close a slug will do . Try some of the Wincester round for the Judge, they work great !!!

Some cool ideas there.. except the compass... lol.
I'm going to suggest the simplest and possibly best mod you can do to the M6.
Remove the trigger guard so that the rifle will fold all the way without ever having to take out and potentially lose the take down pin. The M6 was designed without the (useless) trigger guard to fold up nice and small.

@Jack70903 I'm thinking a slug would be okay because of the "rifling" on a foster type slug. The rifling is there to be allow the slug to collapse when using a full choke, it doesn't actually impart ANY spin on it, well maybe a little...

@oodamnagain 45 LC does not work. It works in the judge because it is chambered in 45long colt and the plastic on the 410 expands to fill the .04 gap.

hey,great gun and vid,turn that little mag lite solitare over so its pointing down and if you hold the rifle/gun at the ready position it points at the ground in front of your feet to light your path at night,I keep one on most of my rifles.
ok, i have a question. can the M6 scott except a 45 long colt like the turus judge??

@nitewolf3369 Springfield Armory says "NO"! It has a "full-choke" barrel, and they also do not recommend a .41 Magnum either! "

@TodaysBushcraft what about a 410 slug?

@Jack70903 I have not had any problems with slugs in mine. And have not seen any reviews that anyone has had problems with them. If I find any, I will post it.

Decent review. Do a search for "Vshrake M6 article", he's the original king of modifying the M6. DO NOT wrap the barrels, even if you put a wegde between them, horrible idea. i use nylon folding knife sheaths to carry silva matchbox/compass, CS Pocket Bushman knife, GI magneisum firestarter, and a spare, home made pivot pin incase the original gets lost.

Yea, planning on getting a back up pin for sure. I have seen his article many times, and have it bookmarked already. You can wrap the barrel, but they can not, at any time be to each other, only independently. The heat from weather and the weapon will cause the barrel to swell, and the cord could pull them out of true. But wrapping them independent of each other, gives a larger, cooler surface for the hands. Would like to see pics of yours.
