Treebard, Just wanted to say that my father also loved this particular recording of Danny Boy, which was his favorite as well. He died unexpectedly and the organist was instructed to play nothing but Danny Boy at his service. Everyone knew it was his fave song-not a dry eye in the place. Belafonte does this song better than anyone, IMHO. Belafonte has such a beautifully powerful, yet controlled voice.
