Could possibly be a crater from a meteorite?
-
And they are still falling not in huge sizes but in small
-
Well that actually can or is a fallen meteorite ( remember meteorites are still existing and the earth was formed by meteorites or huge space rocks)

@studentdebts I'm a geologist .. its a small batholith or laccolith made of granite, diorite or tonalite etc. Half Dome in Yosemite, part of the Serra Nevada batholith, is another example.
-
could be a parabolic / electronic relay made into stone...
Threw excavation process maybe.
-
more probable of a meteor strike that anything else
-
it clearly has a light and a dark side....its a hole. maybe caused by a meteor
-
Just more evidence of the truth!!!
