Not pussy ass metalcore ones.
I'll show you how to get started on DM vox, these are very time consuming, and you must practice 1-5 hours a day. And must practice to a lot of range of screams to get a range haha.
If a lot of people reply and rate high, ill give a more in depth tutorial, that will show some tricks i use.
Start out wih lows, then work up to highs.
Listen and practice to only Deathcore, death metal, and black metal. NOT METALCORE, OR HARD PUNK, MOST OF THE PEOPLE THAT DO THOSE TYPES OF SCREAMS ARE NOT DOING THEM CORRECTLY, MAKE SURE TO USE UR DIAPHRAGM, WHICH IS EASIER THAN IT SOUNDS. SLIPKNOT LOST THEIR SCREAMS MAINLY BECUASE OF NOT DOING IT PROPERLY, METLACORE OLI FUCKED HIS THROAT UP THAT WAY TOO, (ALSO OTHER REASONS)
Keep it brutal!

  • Dani Filth FTW!!!

  • If you like this check out chrysler42ify. ....metalcore vocalist looking.for a band

  • @ixsetf Hmmm I shall keep this in mind! Thank-you!

  • @DAISER6 I'm not an expert but my understanding is that makes your throat thinner and causes your vocal chords to hit each other too hard and they slowly get damaged.

  • @ixsetf Really now? I've never heard of that? What happens when you tighten your neck muscles? :O

  • @DAISER6 Also you gotta stop tightening your neck every time you say anything, while it wont necessarily hurt you short term, long term it's bad and it doesn't help your vocals at all.

  • @Kale1800 Lawl, everything you do that produces a noise is using your vocal chords. Your diaphragm has no capability of producing any such noise. It merely supports your breathing. The whole "it comes from the diaphragm is widely misinterpreted". I still suggest that you upload a video so I can make sure you're doing it right. Better safe than sorry!

  • @DAISER6 Sorry I didn't upload anything; was busy with a couple of job interviews...but it's probably no longer necessary anyways; think I figured out the problem. The low growls I was trying before were using the vocals chords not the diaphragm, lucky I found that out sooner rather than later. Also for the mid growls I discovered I was actually using false vocal chords.

  • @Kale1800 Awesome, I'll check it out when it's up!

  • @DAISER6 My camera has possibly the worst audio quality ever but I'll upload something in ~12 hours.
