I think, Herman has higher technique. But Sam has very nice melodies.

So,,,I can't decide who is better. I prefer Herman though lol.

i dont know who is better and I dont wanna know it because this is my favorite band. I will never compare anyone of the band with anyone of the band. They are awesome for me, and I dont need to know who is better to love their music.

Sam's probably one of the most important guitarists out there for me, he's quite unique in my opinion. Btw, the most melodic and tasteful solos are on Sonic Firestorm so if you haven't already done so then listen to it from start to finish!

@TaishoJapan you cannot compare herman li to sam totman they r both excellenet at the guitar man. add a an awesome drummer like Dave mackintosh and a great bassit like Frédéric Leclercq and a the new singer marc you get an awesome band named dragonforce dude man

like both but sam writes most of the songs, so i say sam is the better guitarist. still both of them are amazing
