"President Barack Obama's administration on Monday formally invited Mexico to join controversial free trade negotiations known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership, reinforcing consumer and environmental group concerns that the deal may establish broad new powers for corporations. The invitation comes less than one week after a leaked U.S. document sparked an uproar because it proposed terms that would grant corporations the ability to bypass U.S. public interest laws and regulations in courts here and appeal directly to international tribunals. U.S. advocacy groups and some members of Congress have criticized the U.S. proposals...".* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

The Bush administration pursued a strategy of trying to isolate Venezuela from its neighbors, and ended up isolating itself. President Obama promised in the 2009 Summit of the Americas to pursue a different course; but he didn’t, and at the 2012 Summit he was as isolated as his predecessor.

Good luck with that. The 'vote with your dollars' argument fails so epically. It assumes they actually need you to stay in business... lets see how far your morals stretch when you can't afford anything else? If you make $60,000 votes a year, how much say do you have compared to someone making 1,000,000 a year? If you're resorting to the 'votewithouyrdollahs' bullshit, you've already lost.

I think the most important thing is not to buy things from these corparations. Youngturks your next task is to inform people about what they shall and shall not buy ! I think thats the only way to change. The corparations and the governement will only change if the people dont buy their stuff.

So Cenk why do you keep blowing the Democrat horn? Wake up and realize this left/right paradigm is nothing but a game. Both parties are owned by corporations, and work for those interests not the American people. It's time to start thinking outside the box and stop playing the Republican/Democrat game. They're both sides of the same coin!!!

Ok, so do you agree that the media is controlled by rich people, and that they don't need government of any kind? What part of that do you disagree with?

I saw that line at the end of your last post, and believe me, it won't get any more true just because you continuously repeat it to everyone that you force to listen to your tripe. I know deep down that you are more open-minded than this...its so sad that you are a victim of your own ideal; incapable of understanding the complete picture because you nitpick your way through arguments only to feel like you have won them, rather than to grow from them...fake it til you make it doesn't always work.

Rich people don't need government so that's where the propaganda is coming from.
