i cant help but compare this scene to mass effect 2s arrival, were a mass relay (works like the sg's) is impacted by an asteroid and an ENTIRE solar system goes byebye

@IHateCaptcha2000 well if you actuly watched the episode then you know that it was a failed experiment because the force field could not contain the exotic particals being made from extracting energy from our own space time, causes power overload and shild colasp along with larged amounts of deadly radiation and the particals dont behave acording to the laws of physics. :)

I know that I am a geek to point that out, captain obvious even,

not to mention probably 10'000 ppl already did it.

But why do they need a cannon? And how is this failed weapon of the ancients?

Build 3+ of those and >NOBODY< f* with you.

No material requirements (energy source), relatively small and very light,

probably easy to build in large quantities :p and best of all, you don't even need to "deliver" it to your enemy, just leave it somewhere "nearby"
