A mysterious disease outbreak has plagued a remote village in Kibwezi district. The government has mobilized a medical team to try and diagnose the affliction, which has affected at least 50 people. However, as NTVs Rose Wangui reports, in Samburu area, dozens of people have also been admitted at a local dispensary, suffering from another unidentified sickness.
How sad. Results of poor sanitation, malnutrition and poor health support systems. Failed state anyone?

I dont know, how could someone find out, its the first thing that come to mind when theres something "strange" and new comes on the scene, and human labrats are a coveted thing I would think, so if someone appears to "examine" the effects of whatever this is I sometimes wonder if its not to keep record of the results of some unofficial experimental thing started beforehand, after all we all have heard the stories of that kind of thing going on.
universal healthcare might give them that reason

KARStarla,
exactly---and if they have been vaccinated, has it been on the "down-low" i.e. undocumented experimentation on locals by certain governments who are creating situations as an excuse to declare mandatory vaccines globally?

Just curious, have these people been vaccinated at anytime for anything at some time there?

What a government. When swine flu, which to me is a lesser condition, than this disease was detected in Kenya there was a health alert and ministers hopped from one press conference to another as health officials poked pupils's noses non stop.Come this poormans desease in some corner of the country and you hear nor see no tuff war between the bearded prof and jomo's niece. Perhaps we should transfer all the gov depts to NTV. With cameras on the loose most departments will be on their best behaviour

This shows lack of government's commitments to help and protect its citizens

I would be wrong but this is through some chemicals that the KANU govt allowed some western companies dump in the area. Now the drums underground are busting mixing with the water in the area. Just maybe im not sure... Watch the movie Sahara you will understand.

Where is Professor Anyang? Today he is in the government and we demand answers! He is very quite lately given his passion to issue press ultimatums.
