tonga is in jeopardy of loosing its culture and people, why? just look at the riots and corruption in tonga. why do you think tongans are moving to Samoa? It is because they know that the homeland and origin of all polynesia is........you got it, SAMOA!!! @ETJLMET the tongans need the Samoans in order for tongan culture to survive. tongan is also in jeopardy to loosing their land to China because tonga is indept to them. Samoans own their land and are the origins of all polynesia including language, so tongans need Samoa to trace their history and keep their culture alive.

@JD55000 - i know this comment was from a year ago but ... the British brought with them missionaries who baptised the first King of Tonga and named him after King George III so don't jump the gun christianity played its part in the colonisation !
