After about a year of tough hacking, Mother 3 fan translation is finally very close to release. A few weeks of testing is all that's really left now.

This video is nothing too special, I made it to show off all the various game systems (dialogue, main menus, battle, battle menus, misc. scenes, etc.) working together perfectly.

  • Only problem being that "snuck" isn't a word. It's "sneaked" ;]

  • It's an acceptable version of the verb. It seems to vary by region/dialect, but it's one of those things everyone learns one way while others learn it another, and then grammar drama begins ;)

  • Is there any chance you guys will possibly release a DS port of the game. Nothing extra added to the game, but just so the game will run on the DS. Because I only have a slot-1 R4DS card and that won't run GBA homebrew...

  • Sure, it'd only take four or five years maybe ;)

  • 1:49 What was the saturn coffee table doing there?

  • i prefer good old earthbound on snes, loved the whole town feel was awesome

  • 1. Yeah, like a PSYCHIC would waste his/her time predicting something like that. (No offense to the series, I love it too), and

    2. It wasn't announced at E3 this year.

  • That psychic was wrong.

  • okay heres what you do. im assuming ur using an emulator so you press shift and f1 and that saves the game only with the emulator which is what you want. You should keep your saves all in one folder otherwise you can't load them. When you save it should become a SAV. file

  • Can anyone help me save the game? (not the literal game, but allow me to go back to where I left off when I turn off my computer)

  • the battle music sounds a little like the song "great balls of fire"

i smell another lawsuit if they try to bring it to the us

  • The DS doesn't need a GBA emulator because it can play GBA games natively. You just need a flash cart in the GBA slot to engage GBA mode (after you get things set up on your main card, if the DS slot houses your primary homebrew solution—if your GBA slot is your primary homebrew-cart slot, then you're golden).
