Recorded audio from the original June 6, 1944 radio broadcast. This was President Franklin D. Roosevelt's prayer for American victory and for the protection of U.S. forces abroad. Now set to imagery of U.S. soldiers in action.

  • "It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,

who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier,

who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin

is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag."

-- Father Denis Edward O'Brien, USMC

  • "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men (women) than himself." - John Stuart Mill

God save America from the left wing cowards.

  • Gateman45's quote is so true but tragically unappreciated by most Americans.

  • Gateman - I couldn't agree with you MORE! And thank you for your courage in saying so!

  • i no that we have our own beliefs and wat not, but i hope that some day we can come 2gether as one b 4 its 2 late. I still believe in the RED,WHITE,and,BLUE.

  • We have room for but one flag, the American Flag. We have room

for but one language, the English language, and we have room for

but one sole loyalty, and that is a loyalty to the American people.

    Pres. Theodore Roosevelt.

  • In god always.

  • If more people had the moral values of our founding fathers, the strength and courage of FDR our nation would lead all nations into prosperity. The belief that this nation, founded with a belief in God, One Nation Under God. We where graced to become the greatest nation. Our documents references what this country believed in most above all others, a belief in the supreme being, God. Under our flag and belief we defended our shores, the shores of others. God Bless us, above all God Bless America.

  • This video should remind us of what this Country lacks today that it had then - courage, patriotism, integrity, strength, perseverence, and an unashamed belief and trust in God.

  • sadly FDR's very own party wants to take Gods very name out of everything...
