A day at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for the annual Diesel Gala, the video starts off with some photos of 20227 at Grosmont, and then a video onboard of the departure from Grosmont to Whitby. Next is some photos of the Class 20 at Whitby & Battersby. Next is a video onboard of the departure from Battersby, heading back to Whitby. Next is some photos of the 20 at Glaisdale, also passing D7628 "Sybilla". Next is some photos from Grosmont, and then a video of 20227 departing for Whitby. Next, a few photos from Grosmont & Goathland, featuring 45041 "Royal Tank Regiment", D5061, 31128 "Charybdis" & 37264. Next, an onboard video back on the Esk Valley line of D7628 "Sybilla" heading out of Glaisdale towards Battersby. Lastly is some photos of D7628 "Sybilla" at Battersby & Whitby.

@BowlandForestTram Thanks for the comment. 20227 wasn't in the best of health, unfortunately. One of it's field diverts wasn't kicking in properly, so it wouldn't stay on full power for long. However, it still put in a spirited performance. D7628 was as good as ever, sounding excellent all the way along the Esk Valley.

Some nice footage there, never done the battersby run yet, I was on the sat run to whitby with the 25. And of course up the hill with the peak and the 25 and filming Bowland too :-)
