I checked that one out when I bought this one. I didn't like the feel of it that much. This one wins in the looks department for sure though lol

The HD1 is around the same price..

I've played the DTXpress 1 model and it high-hat pedal is horrible on it also.

I'm not sure the exact model I have but my only problem would be the hi-hat pedal. It feels squishy, and is too hard to push to respond.

can you use the rims of the tom pads to trigger sounds? I was hoping i could use the two rack tom rims for splashes.

Got the exact kit to, I'm enjoying it so far. What preset kit u using cause I like the sound? I mostly use the 4th one called rock kit. Would like to chat further if ok to get thoughts on the kit

I plug a guitar/bass cord into one of the out things and use a 1/8 converter to plug it into my audio in jack on my computer. I have a Mac and Sync it up in Imovie
