Nader is an amazing man and a great man. The thing that I disagree with him about is that legislation seems to be the default solution for him when many of the outcomes he seeks could be realized without the force of law.

@pdaniels9000 we need a candidate named Paul Nader. The perfect compromise of ideas to govern from the real middle.

Best healthcare policy from Worst to Best
4. The one we have now

Doctors have the right to practice medicine without insurance company capitalists. Today doctors lie to insurance companies by exaggerating illnesses so patients can get the health care that they need. Private property is not the basis of freedom. Freedom is being able to choose the life you want to live without intimidation by tyrants whether they are theocrats, businessmen, militarists, or secret police etc. Private property plays no role in the equation.

@MoloBeer What right? The right to enslave a doctor to take care of you? How is that a right? The undermines the "rights" of the doctor.

excellent clarification of healthcare vs.health insurance.....

@pdaniels9000 oh i see him wanting health care and higher pensions and what ever else dosent make him an ideologue? yes mr Paul sticks to his guns free markets thats horrible non intervention oh my and state rights too yea paul is crazy what does nader do besides talk Paul is alwys putting his money where his mouth is look at his legislation and his stand in the congerss almost always alone
-
@tonyteb no, the fact that he's not an ideologue like ron paul. both of them address the issues but i think nader provides practical ways to solve the problems. and nader can always back up his opinions with actual evidence. whereas ron paul often seems to stick to his same conservative talking points: free markets, non-intervention, states' rights, etc.

@pdaniels9000 with what his soicalist ideas
I think we should look at how lucky we are that Mr. Nader still has the strength to carry the battle of OUR rights on his shoulders.

I wish I'd known he was in this area for this discussion -- I would have attended. I proudly voted for Nader and I will again if he decides to run again.
