Savannah Vaughn sings an old Don Gibson song "Sea Of Heartbreak" at the 2009 "Bluegrass on Broad" Downtown Free Concert Series in Kingsport, Tennessee on 15 May 2009. (The song was written by Hal David and Paul Hampton then recorded by Don Gibson in 1961 during my childhood when I had just started to collect records. I think I may still have the original "45".)
At the time of this taping the Fall Creek Band regulars included Savannah Vaughn (lead vocals and fiddle), Audie Ratliff (mandolin and vocals), Janice McCombs (bass and vocals), and Ron Vaughn (guitar and father of Savannah).
They do a great version of this great song. That's really cool that you still have the original Don Gibson 45.
