I don't know which is worse: The ignorance of American government indicated in the video or the larger span of ignorance indicated in these comments. Either way, the growing level of (and tolerance for) ignorant opinion instead of rational argument makes me increasingly concerned for our fate. If we can't make the rational, best decisions then we're fated to follow an ever-descending spiral.

Thanks to liberal policies America can no longer afford to pay for medicare, social security, unemployment and many other services. We also need to lower the minimum wage to $2/hr in order to compete with China and bring jobs back home. Fiscally responsible conservatives like Paul Ryan and John Boehner know this and are currently
