A video depicting great moments in Penn State football history. If you are a Penn State fan you will love this video and even if your not you can not hate their legendary coach Joe Paterno. If you understood how much money he gives the University you really would begin to understand just how great of a man he is. Although Penn State only had 2 national Championships, both of which were under Paterno they had 7 undefeated seasons, five of which were under current coach Joe Paterno. Each season they were undefeated many believe they should have had a national championship although the past is gone and their is no changing that. Something that Penn State is known for is their distinct tradition. There are no names on the back of their jerseys because each jersey has its own legacy. Every Penn State fan from every generation can incorporate a name when they see a jersey. Number 32 may be KiJana Carter to some and Franco Harris to another depending on your age. Also #22 Evan Royster to a newer generation and legendary John Cappelletti to another. Cappelletti was Penn States only heisman trophy winner. And of course we can't forget Penn State has been termed Linebacker U simply because they have a tendancy of churning out Grade A Linebackers like an assembly line. From Jack Ham to LaVar Arrington to Sean Lee. The most recent team to go undefeated was Quarterbacked by Kerry Collins in the 1994-95 season, most Penn State fans hopes were crushed when they were not awarded a national championship that season and instead it went to Nebraska, but Penn State fans all know that the team of 1994-95 season could have beaten anyone.

  • Where was the history?

    .

    Pics of the old stadiums?

    .

Did not live up to hype/title.

  • @JuniperSprouts the pics of old stadiums are at the end of the video. The video itself has clips of past football games and players as well as plays this is the history or else it would be boring. If you are a true Penn State fan you will be able to remember the plays and or players in the video

  • Joe Paterno is a despicable human being and deserves nothing less than to live out his dying days in prison. Make no mistake; children continued to be raped because of the actions, or lack thereof, of Joe Paterno. He is a bum, a fraud, a scoundrel, and an disgusting example of a leader of young men.

  • Take this shit down, no one cares about Pedo State any more!

  • @dougalmac54 Now proven that only supporters of pedo cover up is wanted at Pedo State! Take this shit down!

  • @dougalmac54 You are a very loyal guy. I will give you that. You still stand behind Joe and this current staff despite the empirical evidence that they simply cannot take this team to that next level. They are complacent and their practice of offering marginally talented head-scratchers continues because they dont care. They know darn well Joe could lose every game and still keep his job, and thus they'd keep theirs. If we lose more than 4 games this year, there has to be major changes IMO.

  • @BassAssassin9 You are absolutely full of it, mister. Your attitude and arrogant nonsense disgusts me as a REAL Penn State fan. If you can't support the team, get out and go somewhere else-your kind isn't wanted at Penn State.

  • We had an illustrious history, but the man who built it is tearing it down. The days where we brought in the top talent are over and now we are nothing more than a charity case for kids who otherwise would end up playing in the MAC...Mike Wallace, John Urschel, Brad Bars, Derek Dowrey, Austin Johnson...are you serious? These guys would be walk-ons on the mid 90s PSU squads. But yet the homers wonder why OSU cleans our clocks almost every year.

  • @spanky0725 "If you are a true Penn State fan..."

    .

I am not a PSU fan. I respect PSU & JoePa. I am an Alabama fan. I was looking for PSU videos ahead of the Alabama/PSU match-up. I enjoyed partying with some of the PSU fans. They were a lot of fun. Good people.

    .

    Good luck this season.

(Especially against Iowa, Michigan, and tOSU.)

    Stay healthy. Stay classy.

  • In defense of JuniperSprouts, these are not the great moments in PSU football history. They are just exciting plays from recent years. If you say this is about PSU football HISTORY, we (some of us, perhaps less "true" fans than you) expect stuff from '94, '86, and '82, and at least one clip of STEVE SMEAR. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun video, it just doesn't live up to its billing.
