Oh, and while I am here: that chockmankev & smokrscreen2010 (same person with two accounts) below can fuck off as well - it has trolled a few of these vids with anti-Norwegian (at least I assume it's anti-Norwegian - his English is so bad it's hard to tell for sure) trolling so I assume he has some kind of mental illness - the poor sod.

The tree was only slightly damaged at the base.
Not every young person is as devoid of human decency as the cretins who tried to set fire to the tree that commemorates so many Britons and Norwegians who died for the freedoms that these idiots enjoy today.
London thanks Oslo for their gift every year.

Who ever did this should also be hung out to dry, this tree is a GIFT from Norway for saving them during WWII, Trying to burn it down is just not British atall. At this point in time were they managing to put it out?

@MariaaaPOP you obviously don't understand protest. Violent protests only ever make things worse as people distance themselves from protesters and the movement only loses support and becomes more radicalised. If you don't believe me then simply look at the people who are causing trouble that never need worry about fees, the children of millionaires defacing memorials. This line of action only guarantees that student fee rises will continue unchallenged.
